The aim of this study was to determine the presence and concentration of interleukin IL-6, IL-8, and granulocyte-macrophage-colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF) in pre-ovulatory ovarian follicular fluid (FF) of patients undergoing controlled ovarian hyperstimulation for intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) therapy on one hand, and to find out whether these cytotokine concentrations could be used as a predictive parameter for ICSI outcome.
