Abstract
BACKGROUND
Ovarian endodermal sinus tumor is rare in postmenopausal women.
CASE
We report the case of a 75-year-old woman with a pure endodermal sinus tumor of the ovary.
CONCLUSION
We believe this to be the oldest patient reported with an ovarian endodermal sinus tumor. The histogenesis of this entity in older patients may be different than when it occurs in young women.
