[The founding of Baoding Medical College].

Baoding Medical College, an earlier institution of combining western and traditional Chinese medicine, played an active role in the development of combined medicine. This paper introduces its historical background, regulations for teaching program and student management. This might be helpful to contemporary educational reform.
