Abstract
This paper recalls the character of one of the historians of the Polish medicine of the beginning of 19th c., who earlier than Ludwik Gasiorowski (1807-1863) and Stanisław Kośmiński (1837-1883) prepared materials for the: "Lexicon of Polish physicians", "History of medical art in Poland", "Polish medical terminology" and "Bibliographic catalogue of works on history of the Polish medicine".
