Abstract
The author presents a distinguished Polish doctor and historian of medicine, professor of Warsaw and Lublin universities, an author of more than 150 scientific publications Ludwik Zembrzuski with a special consideration of his work during his stay in Bydgoszcz. A list of his manuscripts dealing with medicine which are in Bydgoszcz public library is included.
