The development of dental services in the Bulgarian army is traced from its foundation up to the last world war. The first dental services (three) were founded in 1911, whilst in 1914 they became twelve. During the Balkan war the dental service in our army was non-existant. During world war one dentists were mobilized in hospitals and regiments and were obliged to work with their own instrumentarium and materials. During world war two, the first dental offices are being set out with the appointment of permanent dentists in divisional (battalion) hospitals, regiments and in the air force. For the first time during the great patriotic war the soldiers of the Bulgarian army are provided with specialized and organized dental assistance.
保加利亚军队牙科服务的发展历程可追溯至其成立之初直至上一次世界大战。最初的牙科服务机构（共三个）成立于1911年，到1914年时增加到了十二个。在巴尔干战争期间，我们军队没有牙科服务。第一次世界大战期间，牙医被动员到医院和团级单位，且不得不使用自己的器械和材料开展工作。第二次世界大战期间，随着在师级（营级）医院、团级单位以及空军中任命了常驻牙医，首批牙科诊所开始设立。在伟大的卫国战争期间，保加利亚军队的士兵首次获得了专业且有组织的牙科援助。
