Certain aspects are investigated in the development of Bulgarian natural science in connection with the 25th anniversary of the victory of the Socialist revolution in Bulgaria. An attempt is made to divide in periods the methodological re-organization of Bulgarian natural science. Some of the more significant achievements and weak points in dealing with the philosophical problems of Bulgarian natural science are analyzed; also natural history issues are outlined, the philosophical elucidation of which is forthcoming, closely related to the modern development of the science and the state of ideological struggle.
