Abstract
The author outlines the activity of Russian sanitary detachments in the Balkan perinsula during 1876. They offered substantial medical aid to the rebels from Herzegovina and Bosna, to the wounded and ill soldiers, making part of the Serbian and Montenegro army during fighting activities, as well as to civil population.
