Abstract
We report the immunologic and virologic response of iron deficiency anemia in two cases of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)-infected individuals. The findings of this report suggest that caution be exercised in prescribing iron supplements to HIV-infected patients. The treatment of iron deficiency anemia should be combined with antiretroviral agents in people living with HIV/AIDS to avoid adverse immunologic and virologic consequences.

我们报告了两例人类免疫缺陷病毒（HIV）感染个体缺铁性贫血的免疫和病毒学反应。本报告的研究结果表明，在为HIV感染患者开铁补充剂时应谨慎。对于感染HIV/AIDS的人群，缺铁性贫血的治疗应与抗逆转录病毒药物联合使用，以避免不良的免疫和病毒学后果。
