The phagocytic activity of leucocytes in different forms of acute appendicitis in 126 patients has been studied. The phagocytic activity of leucocytes in patients with acute appendicitis a day after the operation was found to be reduced, a decrease being more pronounced in patients with a gangrenous form. It is felt that, although not being a specific reaction, the phagocytosis indices along with other clinical and laboratory investigations reflect the status of protective forces of the organism and contribute to recognition of associated complications.
对126例不同类型急性阑尾炎患者白细胞的吞噬活性进行了研究。发现急性阑尾炎患者术后一天白细胞的吞噬活性降低，坏疽型患者的降低更为明显。人们认为，尽管吞噬作用指标并非特异性反应，但它与其他临床和实验室检查一起反映了机体保护力的状态，并有助于识别相关并发症。
