The dental health of migrants in Holland is critical. Health education can be a good method to improve this situation. It is important to correspond with the personal background, the knowledge attitude and behavior of the individual client. In health education for migrants language and cultural differences need to be overcome. Until now there is a limited number of initiatives to promote the dental health. Expert knowledge and skills of health educators need to be improved and more supporting educational materials have to be developed.
荷兰移民的口腔健康状况堪忧。健康教育可能是改善这一状况的良好方法。根据个体客户的个人背景、知识态度和行为进行沟通很重要。在针对移民的健康教育中，需要克服语言和文化差异。到目前为止，促进口腔健康的举措数量有限。健康教育工作者的专业知识和技能需要提高，还必须开发更多辅助性教育材料。
