This article focuses on the central nervous system (CNS) complications of HIV/AIDS and computed tomography's role in diagnosing these conditions. After completing the article, readers will know the signs and symptoms, causes or proposed causes and computed tomographic (CT) appearance of 4 important CNS complications of HIV/AIDS: Progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML). Toxoplasmosis. CNS lymphoma. AIDS dementia complex (ADC).
