Abstract
Thymectomy may be an effective treatment of Myasthenia gravis. 25% of the 16 patients had a complete remission of the disease, 70% remarcable improvement. Half of the patients were able to resume working. Diagnostic methods, surgical and postoperative problems are discussed. Lateral left thoracotomy is recommended.

胸腺切除术可能是治疗重症肌无力的一种有效方法。16例患者中有25%疾病完全缓解，70%有显著改善。半数患者能够重新工作。文中讨论了诊断方法、手术及术后问题。推荐采用左外侧开胸术。
