Reactivity of mesenteric arterioles (10- 30 mu in diameter) was studied in vivo after the application of histamine 100- 500 gamma), adrenaline, noradrenaline, and acetylcholine (1- 10 mug) in normal rats and in the animals with renal and hormonal hypertension. Sensitivity of microvessels to the action of vasoactive substances proved to change depending on the stage of hypertension.
