Computed tomography is performed in suspicious cases of cerebral venous thrombosis. Although an empty delta sign is not uncommonly reported, a cord sign is rarely reported. But this is, if present, pathognomonic, especially in the case of cortical vein thrombosis.
A young man with antithrombin III deficiency sought emergency treatment for headache and seizure. Noncontrast computed tomography showed a typical cord sign in multiple sections. It seemed to be independent from the adjacent pathologic findings in most sections. Brain magnetic resonance imaging verified it as a thrombosed vein in conjunction with acute venous infarction.
The cord sign should be considered for early and accurate diagnosis of cortical vein thrombosis.
对于脑静脉血栓形成的可疑病例需进行计算机断层扫描。尽管空三角征并不罕见，但条索征却鲜有报道。不过，条索征一旦出现则具有诊断特异性，尤其是在皮质静脉血栓形成的情况下。
一名患有抗凝血酶III缺乏症的年轻男子因头痛和癫痫发作寻求紧急治疗。非增强计算机断层扫描在多个层面显示出典型的条索征。在大多数层面上，它似乎与相邻的病理表现无关。脑磁共振成像证实其为一条血栓形成的静脉，同时伴有急性静脉梗死。
条索征应被视为早期准确诊断皮质静脉血栓形成的依据。
