Changes in the light regime caused a continuous reorganization of circadian motor rhythm with a gradual formation of a new pattern of circadian mobility. Both chronic administration of imipramine and maprotiline and pain stress-induced simulation of depression modified this process in different ways. However, when antidepressants were given, impairments in rhythm resynchronization attenuated in the stressed rats to a great extent.
