Abstract

The effect of selenium deficiency on the glutathione content and antioxidant enzymes in the gastrointestinal mucosa was studied. It was found that under Se-deficiency the level of glutathione increased, whereas the activity of Se-dependent glutathione peroxidase decreased. The activities of catalase and glutathione-S-transferase were unaffected. Malondialdehyde content was markedly increased in the glandular stomach of Se-deficient rats.

研究了硒缺乏对胃肠道黏膜中谷胱甘肽含量和抗氧化酶的影响。结果发现,在缺硒情况下,谷胱甘肽水平升高,而硒依赖性谷胱甘肽过氧化物酶的活性降低。过氧化氢酶和谷胱甘肽-S-转移酶的活性未受影响。缺硒大鼠腺胃中的丙二醛含量显著增加。
