[Judgement of function of eustachian tube in children with polyethylene tubes (author's transl)].

Report about the evaluation of tubal function in children with tubulated ear drums because of chronic-secretory otitis media. With the aspiration-deflation method only 9% of 243 cases showed active tubal opening in swallowing when negative pressure was produced in the middle ear. The probable cause is discussed.
