In a set of interrelated investigations in 2001-03, García Bacete and Rosel Remirez, Marjoribanks, and García Bacete and Villanueva Badenes examined relationships among intellectual ability, family environment, and academic achievement. Analysis in this follow-up study showed that relationships among ability, environment, and achievement varied for children from different social status groups.
