Three effective methods, differing by their labor and time consumption, for the assessment of the lacrimal fluid fibrinolytic and coagulation activities are suggested. These methods were tried in examinations of 79 patients with acute disorders of ocular circulation. The results evidence that lacrimal fluid examinations are more informative than analysis of the blood collected from the ulnar vein.
