Abstract
The text specifies the role of CARA (Centre of Fitness to drive and Car adaptations) in the assessment of the fitness to drive an automobile. From the visual point of view, an assessment of the repercussions of a reduced field of vision on fitness can (if the ophthalmologist is in favour) be made by testing it on a public road.
