PURPOSE
To describe an unusual case of atypical Cogan's syndrome with features of posterior scleritis.
METHODS
Interventional case report.
RESULTS
A 53-year-old man presented with bilateral posterior scleritis, along with sensorineural hearing loss and systemic vasculitis. Systemic corticosteroid therapy was started with resolution of ophthalmic findings and improvement of vestibuloauditory symptoms.
CONCLUSIONS
In the setting of atypical Cogan's syndrome, ophthalmic manifestations may be the first sign of disease.
目的
描述一例具有后巩膜炎特征的非典型科根综合征的罕见病例。
方法
介入性病例报告。
结果
一名53岁男性出现双侧后巩膜炎，伴有感音神经性听力损失和系统性血管炎。开始全身使用皮质类固醇治疗后，眼部症状消退，前庭听觉症状改善。
结论
在非典型科根综合征的情况下，眼部表现可能是疾病的首发症状。
