To detect the mRNA expression of transforming growth factor-betal (TGF-beta1) in laryngeal and hypopharyngeal carcinoma, and to explore the pathogenesis of the two types neoplasms.
We examined the expression of TGF-beta1 mRNA in the tissue of human laryngeal and hypopharyngeal carcinoma from patients. The TGF-beta1 mRNA expression was determined by semi-quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR).
The TGF-beta1 mRNA expression was significantly stronger in 17 cases of 20 laryngeal and hypopharyngeal carcinoma.
The result suggested that the expression level of TGF-beta1 in laryngeal and hypopharyngeal carcinoma may inhibit the human immunity and enhance the growth and metastasis of the laryngeal and hypopharyngeal carcinoma.
检测转化生长因子-β1(TGF-β1)在喉癌和下咽癌中的mRNA表达,探讨这两种肿瘤的发病机制。
检测患者人喉癌和下咽癌组织中TGF-β1 mRNA的表达。采用半定量逆转录聚合酶链反应(RT-PCR)测定TGF-β1 mRNA的表达。
20例喉癌和下咽癌中17例TGF-β1 mRNA表达明显增强。
结果提示,喉癌和下咽癌中TGF-β1的表达水平可能抑制人体免疫,促进喉癌和下咽癌的生长和转移。
