Abstract

Ureteral stents have been widely used by urologists and interventional radiologists in the management of ureteral strictures, leaks or fistulas and in conjunction with extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy of large renal calculi. In the long-term use, migrations, encrustations, or even stones formation may occur which make the stents malfunction. When cystoscopical or surgical removal of the malfunctioning stents is not successfully done, percutaneous retrieval can be the choice of treatment. We present two cases of percutaneous retrieval of the malfunctioning ureteral stent.

输尿管支架已被泌尿外科医生和介入放射科医生广泛用于输尿管狭窄、渗漏或瘘管的治疗,以及与大型肾结石的体外冲击波碎石术联合使用。在长期使用过程中,可能会发生移位、结痂,甚至结石形成,从而导致支架功能失常。当通过膀胱镜或手术未能成功取出功能失常的支架时,经皮取出可能是一种治疗选择。我们介绍两例经皮取出功能失常输尿管支架的病例。
