To evaluate the ultrastructure of the cornea of Avellino corneal dystrophy (ACD) exacerbated by LASIK.
Three ACD patients with exacerbation of granular corneal deposits after LASIK underwent surgical removal of the corneal flap. The corneal flap was processed for scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
SEM of all patients showed abnormal granular clusters in the fibrils of the corneal flap.
Laser in situ keratomileusis induces corneal collagen abnormalities and adhesions of granular material in ACD patients.
评估准分子激光原位角膜磨镶术(LASIK)加重的阿韦利诺角膜营养不良(ACD)患者角膜的超微结构。
3例LASIK术后角膜颗粒状沉积物加重的ACD患者接受了角膜瓣手术切除。对角膜瓣进行扫描电子显微镜(SEM)检查。
所有患者的SEM均显示角膜瓣纤维中存在异常颗粒簇。
