Certain neurohistological techniques were used to analyze the vasocapillary network of the cortex and adjacent white matter in 11 cases of physiological aging, 3 cases with multi-infarct dementia and 5 cases of Alzheimer's disease. Differences were recorded in the topography and intensity of amyloidosis of the vessels, degenerative alterations in the vessels, senile plagues and other manifestations in the cortex and white matter of dementia and non-dementia patients. The data are of importance for understanding the pathogenesis of dementia of varying origin.
采用某些神经组织学技术,对11例生理性衰老、3例多发梗死性痴呆及5例阿尔茨海默病患者的皮质及相邻白质的血管毛细血管网络进行了分析。记录了痴呆患者和非痴呆患者血管淀粉样变性的部位和强度、血管的退行性改变、老年斑以及皮质和白质中的其他表现的差异。这些数据对于理解不同病因痴呆的发病机制具有重要意义。
