Abstract

Cytokinin activity in young rose petals was higher than in old ones. The content of endogenous cytokinins in petals of a short-lived variety (Golden Wave) was lower than in a long-lived variety (Lovita). Application of the cytokinin, N(6)-benzyladenine, increased longevity of the short-lived variety. This strengthens the view that cytokinins participate in the endogenous regulation of senescence in rose petals.

在年轻的玫瑰花瓣中细胞分裂素活性高于老年花瓣。在短寿命品种(金波)的花瓣中,内源细胞分裂素的含量低于长寿命品种(洛维塔)。细胞分裂素 N(6)-苄基腺嘌呤的应用增加了短寿命品种的寿命。这加强了细胞分裂素参与玫瑰花瓣衰老的内源性调节的观点。
