With the development and application in the life science of genomics and bioinformatics, nutrigenomics has emerged and become the new frontier for nutrition science. The main contents of nutrigenomics include the mechanism of nutrients and phytochemicals on the transcription, translation and metabolism of human genes, especially the molecular mechanism and requirement of nutrients, the personal recipe and food safety, etc. In this article, the main research fields, advances and the trend in the future of nutrigenomics are discussed.
