[Prevention and Sanfujin Tianjin therapy of traditional Chinese medicine].

This paper aims to introduce the experience of treatment in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). In TCM, health care is disease prevention by means of integrating the body with the environment in a manner which takes account of the changing seasons as well as of the weather. Sanfujin Tianjin therapy, a special Chinese herbal moxibustion of surgical treatments, contributes to the prevention of disease by nurturing Yang in spring and summer and treating winter diseases in summer. Even though this treatment is effective, convenient and safe, it should be noted that there are indications and contraindications. In the future, more efforts should be put into evidence-based study in order to verify the scientific effectiveness of Sanfujin Tianjin therapy.
