To study the metabolic pathways of ginsenoside Rd in rats.
Urine samples were collected before and after 24 h of single oral administration of 150 mg and intravenous administration of 60 mg of ginsenoside Rd to six rats, separately. The samples were purified by SPE column and then were analyzed by liquid chromatography-ESI-mass spectrometry for putative metabolites.
Parent drug and its seven metabolites were identified in rat urine based on comparing total ion chromatograms of the blank with the metalolic urine as well as mass spectra. Its main metabolic pathways and possible structures are elucidated.
Oxidation, combination and deglucosylation were found to be the major metabolic pathway of ginsenoside Rd in rats.

分别对6只大鼠单次口服150 mg和静脉注射60 mg人参皂苷Rd,于给药前及给药24小时后收集尿液样本。样本经固相萃取柱纯化,然后采用液相色谱-电喷雾电离质谱法分析推定的代谢产物。
通过比较空白尿液和含药尿液的总离子色谱图以及质谱图,在大鼠尿液中鉴定出母体药物及其7种代谢产物。阐明了其主要代谢途径及可能的结构。
氧化、结合和去糖基化被发现为人参皂苷Rd在大鼠体内的主要代谢途径。
