Abstract

OBJECTIVES

To compare markers of alcohol consumption.

DESIGN AND METHODS

Measurement of urinary ethyl glucuronide, 5-hydroxytryptophol, 5-hydroxytryptophol glucuronide, 5-hydroxyindole acetic acid in 10 patients during alcohol withdrawal.

RESULTS

5-Hydroxytryptophol glucuronide was measured by ELISA with good analytical precision, its diagnostic specificity and sensitivity was better than that of 5-hydroxytryptophol and its correlation was closer to ethyl glucuronide than to 5-hydroxytryptophol.

CONCLUSION

Determination of 5-hydroxytryptophol glucuronide by ELISA offers promising results in detection of previous alcohol consumption.

比较酒精摄入的标志物。

设计与方法

对10例酒精戒断患者的尿中乙基葡萄糖醛酸、5-羟色醇、5-羟色醇葡萄糖醛酸、5-羟吲哚乙酸进行测定。

结果

采用酶联免疫吸附测定法(ELISA)测定5-羟色醇葡萄糖醛酸,分析精密度良好,其诊断特异性和敏感性优于5-羟色醇,与乙基葡萄糖醛酸的相关性比与5-羟色醇的相关性更紧密。

结论

采用ELISA法测定5-羟色醇葡萄糖醛酸在检测既往酒精摄入方面有良好前景。
