BACKGROUND
Multiple malignancies of the urogenital tract have been reported. We investigated the etiological role of human papillomavirus (HPV) in the pathogenesis of urogenital cancers.
CASE
We present a case of cervical squamous carcinoma in a 64-year-old woman who subsequently developed Bowen's disease in the perianal skin and transitional cell carcinoma of the ureter. HPV DNA was detected in these tumor specimens using polymerase chain reaction.
CONCLUSION
The results strongly suggest that HPV may play a major role in the carcinogenesis of urogenital and perianal tumors.
背景
已报道泌尿生殖道存在多种恶性肿瘤。我们研究了人乳头瘤病毒（HPV）在泌尿生殖道癌症发病机制中的病因学作用。
病例
我们报告一例64岁女性的宫颈鳞状癌病例，该患者随后在肛周皮肤出现鲍恩病以及输尿管移行细胞癌。使用聚合酶链反应在这些肿瘤标本中检测到HPV DNA。
结论
结果强烈表明HPV可能在泌尿生殖道和肛周肿瘤的致癌过程中起主要作用。
