To evaluate the use of subperiosteal tunneling (pocket technique) combined with bovine bone graft and resorbable collagen membrane insertion as an alternative surgical approach for augmenting deficient alveolar lateral ridge.
Seven patients were included in the study. All had lateral alveolar ridge augmentation using the subperiosteal tunneling approach with bovine bone as graft material combined with the insertion of collagen membrane. Alveolar ridge augmentations were performed in the anterior maxilla (3 patients) and in the posterior area of the mandible (4 patients).
Eleven implants ranging in diameter from 3.75 to 4.7 mm were inserted after 4 months of graft maturation. All implants had good primary stability at the time of insertion and were stable at uncovering.
Alveolar ridge augmentation using the subperiosteal tunneling dissection is a minimally invasive procedure that does not require a secondary site for bone harvesting and should be considered when performing augmentation of deficient lateral alveolar ridge.
评估骨膜下隧道技术(袋形技术)联合牛骨移植及可吸收胶原膜植入作为一种替代手术方法用于增高不足的牙槽嵴外侧骨壁的效果。
7例患者纳入本研究。均采用骨膜下隧道技术,以牛骨为移植材料并联合胶原膜植入进行牙槽嵴外侧增高术。在上颌前部(3例患者)和下颌后部区域(4例患者)进行了牙槽嵴增高术。
移植成熟4个月后植入11枚直径为3.75至4.7 mm的种植体。所有种植体在植入时均具有良好的初期稳定性,且在暴露时稳定。
采用骨膜下隧道剥离术进行牙槽嵴增高是一种微创手术,无需从第二术区获取骨组织,在进行不足的牙槽嵴外侧增高时应予以考虑。
