Various freshly fixed bovine epithelia were studied with regard to their cytokeratin expression. The epithelia were tested by the ABC immunoperoxidase method with AE1, AE3, anti-keratin B and anti-keratin C monoclonal antibodies. While the hair follicle and nasolabial gland express both small acidic and large basic cytokeratins, the epidermal cells, sebaceous gland and mucosae appear to contain only the latter, and the mammary gland, only the former cytokeratins. Our results on fixed and paraffin embedded material are compared with those reported by others in cell cultures from human and bovine specimens.
对各种新鲜固定的牛上皮组织进行了细胞角蛋白表达方面的研究。采用ABC免疫过氧化物酶法,用AE1、AE3、抗角蛋白B和抗角蛋白C单克隆抗体对这些上皮组织进行检测。毛囊和鼻唇腺同时表达小酸性和大碱性细胞角蛋白,而表皮细胞、皮脂腺和黏膜似乎仅含有后者,乳腺仅含有前者细胞角蛋白。我们在固定及石蜡包埋材料上的研究结果与其他人在人和牛标本的细胞培养中所报告的结果进行了比较。
