We evaluated four cribs with adjustable mattress supports from four manufacturers. Three of the units are rated Acceptable, and one unit is rated Conditionally Acceptable--it is Acceptable on the condition that it is purchased without its semidetachable slat option. We describe the rationale behind our Evaluation in the Introductory Comments below. And in the Crib Assessment and Purchasing Guide, which follows the Conclusions and Ratings, we provide general guidance to help readers evaluate cribs that were not included in this study.
