Molly Sweeney, a play written by Brian Friel, is a creative instructional tool that assists the learner to appreciate the patient as a whole person and identify the importance of both professionalism and ethics in today's world of medicine. This is a tale of a woman who is blind from infancy and whose vision is restored as told by the three people involved: Molly, her husband, and her physician. This production assists with the development of critical thinking, observational skills, and enhanced cooperation toward better quality patient care.
