We examined some data from surgical departments during health care reform (1998-2004) represented by three different financial support systems.
We analyzed duration of hospitalization, sickbeds utilization and number of hospitalization in 60 surgical departments in two different regions of Poland from 1998 to 2004.
We showed significant systematical decrease in duration of hospitalization. Increase in utilization of sickbeds was observed only until the year 2001 and then decrease up until year 2004. We also showed significant increase in number of hospitalization in large surgical departments (more than 30 beds). In small surgical departments (less than 30 beds) increase number of hospitalization was observed only until the year 2001.
This data showed beneficial trends in health care system during the reform.
我们研究了医疗改革（1998 - 2004年）期间外科部门的一些数据，这些数据由三种不同的财政支持系统代表。
我们分析了1998年至2004年波兰两个不同地区60个外科部门的住院时间、病床使用率和住院人数。
