Papilloma of the larynx are virus-induced, benign neoplasmas. The virus belongs to the Papovavirus group and causes skin-warts, condylomata acuminata and papilloma of the mucous membranes. The close relation of these diseases is shown by a review of dermatologic and otologic literature and compared with own results.
