Abstract
The study was dedicated to the role of serotonin in the development of experimental gastric ulcer in rats, and the role of serotonin, histamine, and purine bases in patients with peptic ulcer. The intensification of serotonin and histamine production was shown to promote the sanogenesis of persistent gastric ulcer.
