The aim of this study was to determine the impact of day 3 embryo quality and quantity on subsequent embryonic development and pregnancy outcome following embryo biopsy. The findings demonstrate that a significantly lower proportion of poor/fair-quality embryos develop further after biopsy, and that patients with <4 good embryos on day 3 may have poor outcome. Therefore, appropriate counseling needs to be given to them before therapy is initiated.
本研究的目的是确定胚胎活检后第3天胚胎的质量和数量对后续胚胎发育及妊娠结局的影响。研究结果表明，活检后质量差/中等的胚胎进一步发育的比例显著较低，且第3天优质胚胎少于4个的患者可能预后不良。因此，在开始治疗前需要对他们进行适当的咨询。
