After the independence of México, in 1821, the country has kept its regard and spirit towards France. First for the programs of teaching and instruction in medicine, following the French system. Some years later Napoleon the IIId created what was called "L'Expédition Scientifique du Mexique ( The Scientific expedition in Mexico)" a copy of that which, 60 years before, Napoleon 1st had done for Egypt. From this commission, over the years will be born the actual Academia Nacional de Medicina de México.
