[The terminology and etymology of German anatomical technical terms for the stylo-, zeugo-, basi- and metapodium of horses].

The article reviews German anatomical terms applied to longer limb bones and their joints of the horse. The listed terms have been used in German veterinary and special veterinary anatomical hand- and textbooks since 1774; etymological remarks are made on some unusual words.
