OBJECTIVE
We report the presentation and management of an 18-year-old male, who presented with bilateral carotid body paragangliomas and a unilateral jugular body paraganglioma.
METHOD
A comprehensive review of the medical literature concerning paragangliomas in the pediatric and adult population is discussed.
RESULTS
Presentations of multiple paragangliomas in an 18-year-old have never been described.
CONCLUSION
This is the first case of multiple paragangliomas in a 18-year-old male, who was treated with embolisation and surgical resection and remains disease free 2 years from surgery.
目的
我们报告了一例 18 岁男性患者，其双侧颈动脉体副神经节瘤和单侧颈静脉体副神经节瘤的表现和治疗。
方法
对小儿和成人副神经节瘤的医学文献进行了全面回顾。
结果
从未描述过 18 岁的患者有多发性副神经节瘤。
结论
