To study the clinical characteristics and significance of blood eosinophilia in lung cancer.
A case of lung cancer with eosinophilia in the peripheral blood was analyzed, and the related literature was reviewed.
A 80-year-old male patient presented with chest pain was admitted to this hospital. Chest CT scan showed a cavity in the right upper lung. Peripheral blood leukocyte count was 2.15 x 10(9)/L, of which 16.9% was mature eosinophils. Histological examination of the biopsy specimens obtained under CT guidance confirmed the diagnosis of lung squamous cell carcinoma. There was also evidence of metastasis to the bones.
Paraneoplastic eosinophilia is uncommon in solid malignancies and indicative of tumor dissemination with generally poor prognosis.
研究肺癌患者血液嗜酸性粒细胞增多的临床特征及意义。
分析1例外周血嗜酸性粒细胞增多的肺癌病例，并复习相关文献。
一名80岁胸痛男性患者入院。胸部CT扫描显示右上肺有一个空洞。外周血白细胞计数为2.15×10⁹/L，其中16.9%为成熟嗜酸性粒细胞。CT引导下获取的活检标本的组织学检查确诊为肺鳞状细胞癌。也有骨转移的证据。
副肿瘤性嗜酸性粒细胞增多在实体恶性肿瘤中并不常见，提示肿瘤播散，预后通常较差。
