Abstract

Most NHS prescriptions for medicines are written generically. However, there are controversies around generic prescribing in epilepsy, with many specialists believing that changing the supply of an antiepileptic risks reduced seizure control or unwanted effects. Here we review the evidence and other issues around generic prescribing of medicines used in epilepsy.

英国国家医疗服务体系（NHS）开出的大多数药品处方都是采用通用名开具的。然而，在癫痫治疗中通用名处方存在争议，许多专家认为，改变抗癫痫药物的供应有降低癫痫控制效果或产生不良影响的风险。在此，我们综述了癫痫治疗中通用名药物处方的相关证据及其他问题。
