ICO-7: the Seventh Congress of the International Commission for Optics.

The Seventh Congress of the International Commission for Optics was held in Paris on 2-7 May 1966. In addition to the business sessions of the congress, attended only by official delegates from the 17 member countries, there was an extensive scientific conference Recent Progress in Physical Optics. A meeting of members of the editorial board of Optica Acta, an international journal of theoretical and applied optics, was held during the week. The congress was attended by over 450 persons, from 20 countries.
