Abstract

OBJECTIVE

To investigate the effects of Drynaria fortunei J. Smith naringin (DFSN) on proliferation and differentiation of human periodontal ligament cells (hPDLC).

METHODS

Cultured human periodontal ligament cells were treated with DFSN at different concentrations. Cell proliferation was determined by MTT method; cell differentiation was evaluated through the examination of alkaline phosphate (ALP) activities.

RESULTS

DFSN in a concentration ranged from 0.01 mu mol/L to 10 mu mol/L showed a promoting effect on proliferation of hPDLC (P< 0.05), and it also promoted ALP activities of hPDLC (P<0.05).

CONCLUSION

Drynaria fortunei J. Smith naringin can promotes the proliferation and differentiation of human periodontal ligament cells.

摘要

目的

探讨骨碎补柚皮苷(DFSN)对人牙周膜细胞(hPDLC)增殖和分化的影响。

方法

用不同浓度的DFSN处理培养的人牙周膜细胞。采用MTT法测定细胞增殖;通过检测碱性磷酸酶(ALP)活性评估细胞分化。

结果

浓度范围为0.01μmol/L至10μmol/L的DFSN对hPDLC的增殖有促进作用(P<0.05),并且也促进了hPDLC的ALP活性(P<0.05)。

结论

骨碎补柚皮苷可促进人牙周膜细胞的增殖和分化。
