The toxicological activity of zinc and cadmium is also connected with the negative influence of both compounds on the visual system. The activity of AspAT and AlAT was determined in 68 vitreous bodies and 68 lenses of rabbits exposed to the influence of zinc and cadmium compounds. Under the influence of these compounds the activity of AlAT was higher in the vitreous as well after using the cadmium or the zinc salts. The activity of AspAT did not change in the lens and in the vitreous one could observe a distinctly increased tendency of the activity of this enzyme only after application of the zinc salt.
锌和镉的毒理活性还与这两种化合物对视觉系统的负面影响有关。在68只暴露于锌和镉化合物影响下的兔子的玻璃体和68只晶状体中测定了天冬氨酸氨基转移酶(AspAT)和丙氨酸氨基转移酶(AlAT)的活性。在这些化合物的影响下,使用镉盐或锌盐后,玻璃体中AlAT的活性也更高。AspAT的活性在晶状体中没有变化,而在玻璃体中,仅在使用锌盐后,才能观察到该酶活性有明显增加的趋势。
