Abstract

OBJECTIVE

In this study, we evaluated the feasibility of using dynamic contrast-enhanced MRI (DCE-MRI) subtracted images as a predictor of a decrease in tumor volume in response to chemoradiotherapy in 13 patients with cervical cancer.

CONCLUSION

This study shows that pretreatment tumor nonenhancing fraction assessed with arterial image subtraction inversely predicts the chemoradiation response in cervical cancer.
