Abstract
OBJECTIVE
The objective of this article is to illustrate the spectrum of imaging findings of polypropylene (Prolene) plug hernia repair.
CONCLUSION
Knowledge of patient history and awareness of postsurgical imaging appearances are of importance because Prolene plugs are often incidentally encountered and if misdiagnosed may lead to erroneous patient disease staging and management.
